Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the mechanics field while working alongside seasoned professionals. The Apprentice Mechanic will assist in the maintenance and repair of various types of heavy trucks and trailers. This role provides an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the mechanical trade.

Duties

- Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
- Support experienced mechanics in repairing and overhauling equipment, and other critical components.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.




- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with management regarding repairs and maintenance needs.

Experience
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experiences:

- Basic mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment handling.
- Previous mechanic experience or electrical experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
