We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our transportation team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will be instrumental in supporting our logistics operations. Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 trucks to transport freight over short and long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, identifying any mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation for each trip, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and freight manifests
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickups




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle readiness and safety
- Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management and freight organization when required

Experience

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial trucking, freight transportation, or related logistics roles
- Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high levels of accuracy in documentation

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
