Responsibilities for bilingual CBSA Security Guard

- Protect individuals, property, and assets within a CBSA facility

- Escort individuals safely within the premises

- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and compassion when working with individuals under stress

- Observe, monitor, and document behaviour, escalating concerns as needed

- Conduct regular indoor and outdoor foot patrols

- Perform frequent wellness and safety checks





- Utilize security systems, software, and equipment effectively

- Respond quickly to emergencies using tactical communication and de-escalation techniques

- Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports

Qualifications for tactical Security Guard

- A valid Ontario security guard license (Required)
- A valid and current Standard First Aid/CPR Level C certificate from a WSIB-recognized training provider (Required)
- Canadian citizenship or 5-years permanent residence status (Required)
- Minimum high school diploma from a recognized Canadian educational institution, or post-secondary education, or an internationally recognized credential supported by WES equivalency. (Required)
- Ability to pass a Public Works Clearance and a Vulnerable Sector Check (Required)
- Available to work flexible hours, in a full-time or part-time capacity.
- 1 year experience working with vulnerable sector.
- 1 year tactical security guard experience (Required)
- Ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities.
- Experience working in a high-stress workplace with quick responsiveness to emergency situations.
- Understanding of the importance of conciseness, security, and safety
