Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
We are currently recruiting an Inventory Control Associate for a well-established manufacturing client in Coquitlam. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse and inventory experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and organization are essential.
What You'll Do
- Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies, including lot numbers and quantities
- Audit inventory locations to ensure system inventory matches physical inventory
- Return raw materials and packaging supplies to designated pick locations
- Process inventory transfers, including quarantine and rejected materials
- Monitor expired, damaged, and rejected inventory
- Perform cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy
- Consolidate inventory to maximize warehouse space
- Stage materials for quality sampling and return materials to inventory
- Complete inventory-related documentation and reports
- Report equipment, inventory, and safety concerns promptly
- Assist with training new employees when required
- Support additional warehouse and inventory projects as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Previous inventory control, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience
- Experience with inventory systems, ERP software, or SAP is an asset
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience using RF scanners, measuring tools, and scales
- Ability to perform basic math accurately
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Forklift certification or material handling equipment experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
