Position: Senior Business Analyst

Duration: 8 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement - B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support large-scale public sector and healthcare-related initiatives by providing strategic business analysis, stakeholder engagement, business process transformation, and requirements management services.

The successful consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, project teams, and technology partners to analyze business challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop detailed business requirements that support effective technology solutions. This role requires expertise in business process automation, rules engine solutions, Agile delivery, and healthcare-focused business transformation initiatives.

Scope

Lead business analysis activities for complex business and technology initiatives.

Gather, document, and validate business, functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.

Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process transformation and automation.

Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, workshops, interviews, and JAD sessions.

Develop business models, use cases, process flows, data models, and business rules documentation.

Assignment Deliverables

Business requirements documentation.

Business process models and workflow diagrams.





Use case models and business rule definitions.

Conceptual and logical data models.

Stakeholder engagement and workshop outcomes.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

Demonstrated experience in business analysis to support systems development using a rules engine or business process automation platform

Experience developing business models; use case models; conceptual and logical data models; process and data flow models; use case surveys; test cases; business rules definition and non-functional requirements definitions for assigned projects

Demonstrated experience leading and conducting business analysis to assess client's business problems/opportunities and documenting business requirements.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with accessibility standards and AODA compliance requirements.

Experience translating complex business and data requirements into solution specifications.

Experience working in hybrid Agile and traditional project delivery environments.
