Position: Senior Project Manager - Provincial Digital Services
Duration: 6 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Remote: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Qualified Services Engagement - B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Remote, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Provincial Digital Services to provide leadership across multiple digital transformation initiatives supporting provincial healthcare modernization and digital health strategies.
The successful consultant will oversee complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives involving clinical, operational, and technology teams while supporting future-state digital services, transition planning, Public Sector, stakeholder engagement, and strategic business outcomes.
Scope
Lead planning, execution, Public Sector, and delivery of complex digital health and IM/IT initiatives.
Manage integrated project plans, schedules, dependencies, milestones, critical paths, and project controls.
Coordinate clinical, business, operational, technical, vendor, and Public Sector stakeholders across healthcare organizations.
Support application decommissioning, service transitions, operational readiness, and continuity planning activities.
Assignment Deliverables
Project Charter and Integrated Project Plan.
Executive governance frameworks and status reporting packages.
RAID Logs, risk registers, issue logs, and change control documentation.
Runbooks, cutover plans, and operational readiness documentation.
Data retention, archival, and disposition plans.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Minimum 10 years of experience leading large-scale, complex projects and programs.
Demonstrated experience delivering initiatives within British Columbia healthcare environments, including Health Authorities, provincial healthcare organizations, stakeholders, or shared services organizations.
Extensive experience managing executive-level Public Sector, steering committees, and senior stakeholder reporting.
Experience leading application decommissioning, technology retirements, service transitions, and operational handovers.
Strong background managing project dependencies, continuity planning, and change impacts within complex environments.
Nice to Have:
Experience managing healthcare procurement processes, RFPs, SOWs, and vendor contracts.
Experience supporting enterprise change management and service adoption initiatives.
