Embark on your Millwright career as an apprentice with Jardeg at the Imperial Oil Kearl site in Fort MacKay, Alberta. This full-time, day shift position focuses on essential machine maintenance and installation tasks.
Scheduled from July 9th to August 16th, this role offers a excellent opportunity for developing technical expertise in machinery. Enjoy complete camp accommodations with meals and facilities during your shifts. Work as part of the Heartland Constructors team to gain essential industrial skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read diagrams for work procedure insights
- Safely operate rigging equipment during installations
- Fit and align machine components with precision
- Conduct predictive maintenance and repairs
- Service hydraulic and pneumatic machinery effectively
Requirements:
- Millwright Journeyperson Certification preferred
- Hold a valid Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Possess Standard First Aid Certification (Level A or C)
- Completion of Basic Rigging and Fall Protection training
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
