Position: Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist

Duration: 1.25 Years assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support complex enterprise digital solutions involving web, mobile, accessibility, and system integration initiatives.

The successful consultant will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive quality assurance and testing activities across multiple project streams. This role involves collaborating with business analysts, developers, project managers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements, accessibility standards, and quality expectations.

Scope

Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Perform functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, accessibility, mobile, and performance testing.

Analyze business requirements and technical documentation to identify testing requirements and test data needs.

Validate system behaviour across web, mobile, and multi-platform environments.

Assignment Deliverables

Test Strategy and Test Plan documentation.

Functional, integration, system, regression, accessibility, and UAT test cases.





Test execution reports and quality assessments.

Defect logs, defect triage summaries, and issue resolution documentation.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

5+ years of experience with DevOps/Agile/Scrum Methodology working with Web and Mobile technologies, as well as different OS/Platforms

5+ years of experience with different manual testing types: Systems testing, Mobile, AODA and UAT testing

Solid experience creating Test Strategy/Test Plan document

5+ years of hands-on experience with BRD: analyzing business requirements and creating test data requirements

Extensive experience with preparing detailed test cases to test functionality.

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of at least one programming language.

Experience coding automated test scripts.

Experience using information retrieval and reporting tools.

Security Clearance
