Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, restaurant operations, and guest services, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety and quality standards
- Handle cash transactions with proper cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and assembling menu items
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing customer inquiries, upselling menu items, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during peak hours
- Follow all food industry regulations related to sanitation, safety,



and proper food handling

Skills

- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures
- Solid customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to handle food safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting in hospitality or kitchen environments
- Upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales
