We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Mortgage Underwriter to join our team. If you are an out of the box thinker, keep reading!

You will take charge of the client journey - moving from application to document collection, deal submission & finalization. Working with the lead brokers, you will prepare plans and scenarios to present to clients.

Duties

- Review and analyze mortgage loan applications, supporting documents, and credit reports to determine eligibility.
- Conduct comprehensive risk analysis by evaluating borrower financial stability, creditworthiness, and property value.
- Communicate with the lead brokers, team, clients, lawyers, underwriters, realtors etc..
- Stay current on industry regulations, lending guidelines,



and market trends affecting mortgage underwriting.

Skills

- RECA licensed in Alberta
- Detail orientated
- Technologically savvy
- Strong communication skills that are professional but approachable for when dealing with clients - written & verbal
- open to taking on recent tasks, willingness to contribute to improve the team & the client experience
- 2+ years in a similar role
- Knowledge of A, Alt & private lending; commercial is a bonus

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Edmonton, AB
