Imprints Pediatric Therapy is a growing private pediatric clinic dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential through evidence-based, family-centred care. Our multidisciplinary team provides Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology services in a welcoming, play-based environment where children thrive and families feel supported.

As our clinic continues to grow, we are looking for a compassionate, motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team.

About the Role

The OTA will work under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans for children with a variety of developmental needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an OTA who enjoys building meaningful relationships with children and families while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Facilitate engaging, play-based therapy sessions
- Support children in developing fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, self-care, emotional regulation, executive functioning, and handwriting skills
- Modify activities to meet each child's individual needs
- Collaborate with families and provide home program recommendations as directed by the supervising OT




- Complete timely and accurate session documentation using Jane EMR
- Participate in supervision meetings and ongoing career development
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming therapy environment

Client Population

You will work with children presenting with:

- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- ADHD
- Sensory processing differences
- Fine and gross motor delays
- Developmental Coordination Disorder
- Handwriting challenges
- Emotional regulation difficulties
- Self-care and daily living skill delays
- School readiness concerns

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

- Diploma as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) or equivalent rehabilitation assistant training
- Experience working with children in clinic, school, or community settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supervising Occupational Therapist
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain one)

Requirements

- Previous OT paediatric care experience is a MUST
- Robust communication skills with the ability to explain treatment plans clearly to patients and families.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.




- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating time management and analysis skills necessary for optimal patient care delivery.

Schedule

- Part-time
- Flexible weekday, evening, and Saturday availability
- Opportunity to increase hours as the clinic grows

Compensation

$27–$30 per hour (Independent Contractor)

Compensation is based on experience, pediatric background, and availability.
