Field Marketing & Brand Ambassador

Job Summary:
Our growing communications business is seeking a motivated Field Marketing & Brand Ambassador to sell Rural Internet, Television, Home Phone, Security services, Smart Shades and Cell Boosters.

This is a field-based role: your main responsibility is going out into the community to generate as many sales as possible. You’ll spend time in the office assisting with storefront tasks when needed. Success comes from planning your own sales activities, visiting potential customers, and closing sales independently.

Travel is an essential requirement of this position. The successful candidate must be available to travel to community events, trade shows, sales meetings, and other promotional opportunities. Some assignments may require overnight travel and stays away from home.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Actively generate new sales by going out into the community, visiting businesses, and engaging potential customers
- Represent the company at events or meetings when necessary, but most success comes from proactive outbound efforts
- Plan your own sales activities and strategies to maximize results
- Sell Internet, Television, Home Phone, Security services, Cell Boosters, Smart Shades and Freedom Mobile plans
- Handle occasional administrative tasks at the storefront, such as scheduling installations or assisting walk-in customers
- Maintain a strong understanding of all products and services

Skills and Qualifications:

- High School Diploma (College education an asset)
- Proven sales experience, especially in outbound or field sales
- Technically inclined:



must understand networking and security hardware such as switches, Cat5/Cat6 cables, NVRs, microSD cards, and similar equipment
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Basic computer skills

Company Vehicle and Driving Requirements

A company cube van, event equipment, and gas card will be provided for approved work-related travel.

The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s licence, a clean driving record with no accidents or traffic tickets, and be eligible to drive under the company’s insurance policy. A current driver’s abstract will be required.

The company vehicle, gas card, and equipment must be used responsibly and only for authorized business purposes.

Work Remotely:
No. This is an in-person, field-based and storefront position.

Wages:

- $20 per hour when working at our office location
- $75 commission per sale for independently generated sales where the customer was obtained through the employee’s own outbound sales efforts and not through existing company advertising, inbound inquiries, or company-provided leads
- Work performed at events and trade shows is strictly commission-based

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
