A career as a Paralegal in the Governance and Legal Affairs team at National Bank means acting as a key contributor in supporting subsidiary governance activities. This role allows you to make a tangible impact through your experience in document management, regulatory follow-up, and operational coordination.

Your role

- Coordinate corporate meetings, including preparation of materials and follow-up actions
- Draft, review, and manage legal, corporate, and regulatory documentation
- File documents with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance requirements are met
- Maintain and update corporate records and related databases
- Support administrative operations, including document management, billing, and file tracking
- Monitor evolving legal and regulatory requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the legal department

Your team

Within the Governance and Legal Affairs sector, you will be part of a dedicated team and report to the Senior Director, Subsidiary Governance. Our team stands out for its expertise, rigor, and strong collaboration with multiple internal partners.

Prerequisites

- College diploma in legal techniques or equivalent education, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in legal and corporate document management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment with multiple competing priorities

Languages:

English, French
