We have a few families in Vancouver looking for a BI to join their team. Please read the following carefully and only apply if you are available for the schedule and location:
Client #1 (UBC Area)
- Sessions: 3 per week
- Availability Needed: Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
Client #2 (Nanaimo & E Broadway (home)/ City Hall Area (daycare)
- Sessions: 3 per week
- Availability Needed: Monday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Home), Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Daycare), Friday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM (Daycare)
- > Note: Candidate must be able to accommodate a schedule shift to 9:15 AM – 11:15 AM on one Friday per month.
Client #3 (64th Ave & Oak St)
- Sessions: 2 per week
- Availability Needed: Weekdays 3:15 PM – 5:15 PM / 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM and Weekends 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- > Note: Candidate must be available for one weekday session and one weekend session.
Client #4 (River District - Marine Dr & River District Crossing)
- Sessions: 2 per week
- Availability Needed: Wednesday 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and Sunday 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Client #5 (Broadway & Clark Dr (daycare))
- Sessions: 3 mornings per week
- Availability Needed: Any weekday 9:45 AM – 12:15 PM or 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
You will be a good candidate if:
- You are looking for a permanent part-time position and can commit to a minimum of 2 sessions a week (each session will be 2 to 2.5 hours long).
- You enjoy being self employed and being able to create your own work schedule based on your own availability.
- You have experience working with someone whom is neurodiverse.
- You have experience working with children between the ages of 2 and 10.
- People often describe you as hard-working, reliable, responsible and fun.
- Regular feedback and learning opportunities are important to you. These are your key motivators.
- You have a keen interest in pursuing a career in Behavioural Consulting, ABA Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language, ECE or any other related fields.
Bonus
- You have completed courses in Applied Behaviour Analysis, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child & Youth Care and/or other related courses.
- You have the ability to pick up additional hours if needed.
