We're looking for a hardworking, customer-focused Yard Person to join our Wetaskiwin team. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

- Provide friendly, qualified service to customers in the lumberyard.
- Safely load customer purchases and assist with product selection.
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming building materials.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (training provided if required).
- Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe.
- Restock inventory and assist with inventory counts.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and follow all safety procedures.
- Support deliveries, customer pickups, and other store operations as needed.

What We're Looking For

- A positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Solid teamwork and communication skills.
- Forklift experience or willingness to become certified.
- Previous experience in a lumberyard, warehouse, retail, or building materials environment is an asset.




- Valid driver's license is required.

Physical Requirements

This is an active role that includes:

- Regular lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Occasional team lifting or mechanical lifting of heavier materials.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Pay: $17.68-$23.38 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
