The principle function of this role is to provide clinical social work services to patients and their families in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient and Outpatient Programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate solid abilities in clinical practice.

Qualifications:

- Master of Social Work Degree required.
- Current registration in good standing with OCSWSSW without terms, limits or conditions.
- Advanced training in areas of clinical assessment and experience in therapies modalities (DBT, CBT, ACT) for children adolescents and their families.
- Minimum 5 years direct experience working with children and families in the community and in a hospital setting through inpatient units, outpatient units and emergency rooms.
- Knowledge of the network of community services and resources in the Toronto area.
- Broad experience of mental health services including case management and crisis management for children and adolescents.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to function as a team player.
- Demonstrated skill in working with a broad range of client groups and their families.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Ability to take initiative and leadership as appropriate.




- Practice in a manner consistent with the philosophy of continuous quality improvement.
- Remain abreast of current literature and changing practice patterns.
- Assumes responsibility for aspects of practice including issues related to productivity and utilization.
- Working knowledge of word-processing, database and spreadsheet programs is an asset.
- Satisfactory attendance record as per the Health Centre's Attendance Management Program Policy SJ-08-01-08.
