Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to prevent damage and ensure optimal results
- Fold, package, and organize clean laundry for distribution to various hotel departments or guest rooms
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents, requesting replenishments as needed
- Assist with general cleaning duties in the laundry area to uphold a safe and sanitary environment
- Follow established procedures for stain removal and special handling of delicate or valuable items
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel laundry services or similar cleaning roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of laundry equipment operation and maintenance
- Robust attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
