The Opportunity

If you are an experienced insurance professional who enjoys working with clients, building relationships, and contributing to real business growth — this may be the kind of role you’ve been looking for.

We are currently hiring for a role that can take one of two directions, depending on your experience and strengths. You will be working as a Home & Auto Advisor, with a specialization in either Commercial or Farm insurance. This is not a developmental or entry-level position — we are looking for someone who already has experience in Home & Auto and at least one of these specialized areas, and who can step in and contribute with confidence.

Location

This opportunity is based in Simcoe, Ontario, within the Brantford, Hamilton and Norfolk region. For many candidates coming from those areas, the commute is actually quite manageable, as you’re typically travelling against traffic rather than into it.

What the Role Looks Like

In this role, you will be responsible for both servicing an existing book of business and generating new opportunities. The balance is intentional — approximately half of your time will be spent supporting and strengthening existing client relationships, and the other half focused on identifying opportunities, cross-selling, and bringing in new business.

If you prefer a role that is purely service or purely sales, this likely won’t be the right fit. This position is designed for someone who can comfortably operate in both worlds.

About the Agency

The agency is established and growing, with a strong presence across Home, Auto, Commercial, Farm, Life, and Wealth. There is a clear focus on long-term relationships, client value,

and doing things properly — not just quickly.

This is a professional environment where consistency, follow-through, and client care matter.

Who This Role Is For

We are looking for someone who brings a solid foundation — typically at least three to four years of experience — and who does not require extensive training to get up to speed.

You should be comfortable managing your workload, following through on client needs, and taking ownership of both service and growth. Just as important, we are looking for someone who is stable, career-oriented, and looking for a long-term fit rather than a short-term move.

Requirements

From a practical standpoint, an OTL license is required, along with a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, as there may be occasional client interactions outside the office.

The role is primarily in-office, with some flexibility possible once you are fully established.

Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary in the mid-$50,000 range, with total earning potential in the $75,000 to $100,000+ range based on performance.

There is also a structured compensation model, RRSP matching, and benefits in place.

Apply

If this sounds aligned with your experience and the kind of role you’re looking for, we encourage you to apply.

About the Hiring Process

This hiring process is being managed by Leading Advisor, a firm that specializes in structured hiring for financial and insurance agencies.

Qualified candidates will be guided through a skilled, multi-step process designed to ensure a strong long-term fit.

Job Type: Full-time
