We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stone Countertop Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and installing high-quality stone countertops in residential and commercial spaces. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure precise countertop placement.
- Measure spaces accurately and cut stone slabs using hand tools and power equipment to fit designated areas.
- Install countertops securely, ensuring proper alignment, leveling, and finishing touches for a polished look.
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to prevent water infiltration and enhance durability of installations.
- Maintain a clean work environment by removing debris, dust, and excess materials during and after installation.
- Collaborate with team members on restoration projects or custom modifications as needed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, drills, grinders, chisels, and polishing pads used in stone installation.
- Construction experience with a focus on countertop installation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing countertops effectively.
