Duties
- Greet guests with a welcoming attitude and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) system; Toast, ensuring timely entry and processing
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely delivery of orders
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster guest loyalty
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising quality
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Proficiency with a POS system for order processing and cashiering
- ProServe certificate is required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience
