Job Title: General Labour (Assembly Technician)

Job Function Overview

- The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast paced assembly operation completing a number of repetitive tasks
- Help Prep Paint: straightening and replacing body parts, filling, sanding, and priming vehicles so they can be sent to the painter.
- Able to put tires and boards on trailers
- The ability to operate hand tools is a definite asset
- Training is provided
- Keep work place organized
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Handle Materials – within the shop and outdoors as required
- Work effectively and efficiently to complete your work within the job standard
- Knowledgeable about various tools and equipment, including: jigsaw, drills, chop saw, tape measure, blueprints, etc

Skills:

- Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic
- Mechanically inclined
- Perform work safely and follow established work procedures
- Willing to learn, flexible & reliable
- Physical effort and dexterity is required




- Welding Experience Considered an Asset

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in the fitting/welder discipline
- Experience using power tools or hand tools (drills, squares, measuring tape etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team

Hours per week: Monday to Friday, 41 hours
