We are actively looking for a committed and meticulous Cleaner to become a part of our team!

The perfect applicant will be tasked with upholding cleanliness and orderliness in different work setting. If you have a robust enthusiasm for cleanliness and take satisfaction in your work, we invite you to submit your application.

Term of Employment: Permanent Position, 30-35 hours per week

Rotation Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Night, On Call, Shift, Weekend Can start as soon as possible

Wage: $17 per hour

Responsibilities

- Sweep, mop, wash, and shine floors
- Dust furnishings, light fixtures, windowsills, and other dust-collecting surfaces
- Use wet or dry vacuum for carpets, area rugs, curtains, and upholstered furniture
- Clean and tidy up cupboards, and tables
- Make beds and replace sheets
- Clean, wash and/or scour sinks, toilets, tiles, floors in the kitchen and bathroom
- Clean, sanitize, and polish appliances
- Refill soap and paper dispensers
- Sanitize operating rooms and other spaces
- Manage and report lost and found items
- Offer basic information about facilities
- Collect debris and empty trash bins
- Carry out light housekeeping and cleaning tasks
- Wash windows, clean window screens, walls, and ceilings
- Respond to customers' complaints or issues

Qualifications

- 7 months to 1 year experience as Cleaner
- Secondary (High) School Graduate
- Physical ability to lift UP to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights
- Willing to work at various locations in Thompson, Manitoba
- Must have own Steel-toed safety boots
