Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our non-corporate dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and support overall oral health education. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly environment with a focus on patient comfort and well-being . The Dental Hygienist will collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective dental services.

Duties

- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide oral health education and personalized care instructions to patients
- Assist in patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and documenting findings using dental software such as Dentrix
- Support the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain infection control protocols and sterilize dental instruments
- Manage patient appointments efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of daily operations




- Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care tailored to their needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive patient experience

Experience

- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred
- Proficiency with Power Practice or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus
- Solid understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
