We provide qualified accounting, tax, advisory and auditing service to a number of businesses and individuals from North America to Global. Our team members have abundant experience in Accounting, Tax, Audit and Financial Advisory knowledge etc.

Key Responsibilities for Tax Manager

- Review the working papers prepared by the staff accountants for the Compilation, Review and Tax engagements.
- Review complex corporate, trust, partnership and personal tax returns (T2, T3, T5013, T1).
- Lead tax planning projects (corporate reorganizations, estate planning, SR&ED;, cross-border issues).
- Research and interpret Canadian tax legislation (Income Tax Act), CRA rulings, and case law.
- Manage tax provisions and audits, responding to CRA inquiries and notices of assessment.
- Prepare and review technical memos and tax opinions.
- Identify planning opportunities and provide proactive strategic tax advice.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior and senior tax staff.
- Contribute to the firm's knowledge base and internal training.

Qualifications for Tax Manager

- CPA designation, CPA, CGA or CPA, CA is mandatory.

- 5+ years of relevant experience in a senior role within a CPA firm.





- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university;

- High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity.

- Mastery of Canadian tax software Taxprep and Caseware/Caseview.

- Demonstrated experience leading multiple engagements and client service teams as well as developing and mentoring staff within a collaborative team environment;

- Excellent leadership, project management skills and business development skills;

- Ability to anticipate the long-term impact of all decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving;

- Superior verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to clearly explain complex tax and business issues to clients.

- Advanced knowledge of the Income Tax Act and relevant provincial legislation.

- In-depth Tax Expertise is highly preferred.

- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

- Bilingual(Mandarin and or Cantonese) is preferred.
