Class 1 Truck Drivers will operate and maintain tri-axle end dump and equipment hauler configurations delivering various materials or equipment from/to jobs and customers. The successful applicant may be required to load and unload truck. The majority of time as a class 1 driver is spent driving. Previous experience operating a loader., loading and securing equipment and spreading gravel are all considered valuable assets.

Qualifications

- Class 1 driver’s license is required.
- 3+ years experience as an End Dump and or Equipment Hauling driver is preferred.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

- Maintain daily logs as required, perform trip inspection on equipment operated and loaded ensuring safety and road worthiness,



other paperwork as necessary
- Experience loading, securing and transporting various types of materials and or heavy equipment
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver’s hours, and occupational health & safety
- Comply with Central Civil Solutions protected working procedures and practices
- Requires a flexible work schedule including overtime, weekend and out of town work as required during the construction season (May November)
- Other duties as required

DRIVERS NEEDED FOR 2022 CONSTRUCTION SEASON

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 70 per week
