OVERVIEW

The objective of Westdale Properties multi-residential property management is to provide a unique, industry-differentiating customer experience, through the relentless pursuit of superior customer satisfaction, innovation in marketing, leasing, staff professionalism, technology utilization, and property operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service:

- Professionally and courteously handle all inquiries. Ensure a high level of resident relations is maintained through regular contact and proactive attention to resident needs, including while on call.
- Maintain an overall focus on property safety.

Management and Administration:

- Respond to emergency service requests
- Comply with regular fire and life safety standards and ensure a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
- Maintain all logs and safety checks.
- Be familiar with and adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy and wear prescribed PPE when required to do so

Maintenance:

- Complete general maintenance in parking lots, mechanical rooms and other common areas including lobbies, hallways and laundry rooms.
- Complete service-related work orders for occupied apartments.
- Complete month-end duties and responsibilities, including vacant suite inspections as directed.




- Perform limited snow removal duties and completed waste and recycling duties
- Ensure the effective monitoring and control of all building entrances / exits, ensuring all mechanical and exit doors are secure and functioning at all times.
- Daily grounds cleanup

REQUIREMENTS

- Background in plumbing required
- The ability to work independently and as a team with a flexible schedule including evenings with on-call service, weekends and holidays.
- Have a thorough working knowledge and experience of all manual and power tools in order to complete site property repairs.
- Have an understanding of maintenance systems (pumps, emergency generators, HVAC, boilers, chillers, sprinklers, etc.) in order to participate in preventative maintenance programs.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service, organization and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects, including garbage bins, furniture and appliances.
