Hwaro Korean BBQ is a current upscale Korean BBQ restaurant scheduled to open in August, 2026.

We are creating a modern Korean dining experience that combines premium ingredients, traditional Korean flavours, and elevated hospitality. Our goal is to provide every guest with an exceptional experience through attentive service, quality food, and carefully curated beverage selections.

As an opening team member, you will have the opportunity to grow with the restaurant from day one and play an important role in establishing the service standards and culture of our brand.

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Bartender to join our opening team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of beverage service and the ability to enhance the guest experience through thoughtful drink recommendations and professional hospitality. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining a premium bar environment,



and creating memorable experiences by pairing beverages with Korean BBQ cuisine.

Requirements

- Fluent English communication skills (required)
- Previous bartending or beverage service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is an asset
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverage preparation
- knowledge or interest in Korean alcoholic beverages (Soju, Makgeolli, Korean spirits, etc) is an asset
- Smart Serve certification required
- Positive attitude and solid work ethic
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
