We are seeking a dedicated AZ Driver to join our clients logistics team, responsible for the safe and effective transportation of freight across designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to seamless supply chain operations while maintaining the highest safety standards. Pay: $28- $30 hour
Must have an AZ license and a forklift license
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles adhering to all federal and state transportation laws
- Transport freight efficiently between warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, driver logs, and freight documentation
- Perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate repairs with maintenance teams when necessary
- Assist with heavy equipment operation during loading/unloading processes
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance
- Support warehouse operations by handling freight securely and efficiently
Requirements:
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably within freight or logistics sectors
- Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling
- Knowledge of freight documentation, shipping procedures, and safety regulations
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as required
