O’Hanlon Paving is looking for an enthusiastic, EXPERIENCED Asphalt Finish Roller & Wobbly Operator to work seasonally in a full-time capacity, in various locations throughout Edmonton. The successful candidate must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect.

Responsibilities:

- Safe operation of heavy roller & wobbly
- Determines speed and direction of machine, based on knowledge of compressibility of material
- Work with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of experience with roller operation
- Through knowledge of the safe operation of roller and municipal road building industry
- Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods of time under pressure
- Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license (Class 3 preferred) or above with a clean drivers abstract
- High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with little supervision
- Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends
- Valid safety certifications

Additional Information:





- This is a seasonal position and starts in spring of every year
- This position is eligible for over-time
- Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required
- Training will be provided for various activities
- We offer excellent wages and benefit eligibility after 3 months in which you may continue your benefits during the winter months (off season).
- Potential on call work during the winter months during snow removal and early spring sweeping season.
