Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman/woman Electrician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to interpret complex schematics and blueprints. Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and renovation settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system layouts
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical tasks efficiently
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques, including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems
- Assist with the installation of low voltage wiring for security systems, communication networks, and automation controls
- Conduct inspections to ensure electrical systems meet safety standards and code compliance




- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovation projects to coordinate electrical work
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on existing electrical installations
- Follow all safety protocols related to electrical work to prevent hazards or accidents

Requirements

- Valid journeyman/woman electrician license or certification
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in construction environments involving electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical manuals
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring and systems integration
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and troubleshoot complex electrical issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment when necessary

Pay: $28.67-$48.42 per hour
