We are looking for a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our team and help us continue providing top-tier electrical services.

Position Overview:

Ingonish Electrical Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dependable Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician to join our growing team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across a variety of residential and light commercial projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical ability, a commitment to safety, and the ability to contribute positively within a collaborative work environment. This position also plays an important role in supporting the development of apprentices and helping maintaining a high standard of workmanship across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform timely repairs
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
- Coordinate work with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades
- Provide guidance and direction to apprentices on job sites




- Support skill development within the crew and help maintain consistent quality of work
- Maintain a secure, organized, and efficient work environment
- Assist with planning and executing electrical work on construction and development projects

Key Qualifications:

- Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification (required).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Robust knowledge of electrical systems, codes and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented work environment.
- Experience mentoring or overseeing apprentices is considered an asset.
- Experience in residential and commercial construction is considered an asset.
- Accurate, client focus, dependable
- Effective interpersonal skills, flexible, reliable, and hardworking.

Wage range:

$34 - $42 / hour, depending on experience and skill level
