We are looking for a Full Stack Java Developer to build and enhance modern web applications using Angular on the frontend and Java/Jakarta EE on the backend.

The role also requires working knowledge of databases and practical familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and LLM application components (e.g., vector databases and orchestration frameworks).

You will collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, testable, container-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain SPA features using Angular 17+, TypeScript 5.x, and Angular Material / Material Design.
- Build backend services using Java 17+ and Jakarta EE 10 (REST APIs, validation, security, integration patterns).
- Design and implement API contracts, error handling, logging, and performance-conscious services.
- Write and maintain automated tests:
- Frontend: Jest
- Backend: JUnit 5
- Work with databases: create/modify schemas, write queries, tune basic performance, and support migrations.
- Apply AI tools and patterns to improve productivity and/or product features:
- Use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Windsurf/Devin) effectively and responsibly.
- Integrate or support LLM-based capabilities using vector databases (e.g., ChromaDB or similar) and orchestration frameworks (LangChain or Haystack).
- Use Git for version control and participate in code reviews and branching workflows.
- Build and package applications using Maven; containerize and run services with Docker.
- Collaborate in agile ceremonies, contribute to estimations, and communicate progress and risks clearly.




- Troubleshoot issues across the stack (UI, API, database, container/runtime) and contribute to root-cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

- Professional experience delivering full stack applications with:
- Angular 17+, TypeScript 5.x, Angular Material
- Java 17+, Jakarta EE 10
- Testing experience with Jest (frontend) and JUnit 5 (backend).
- Working knowledge of databases (relational preferred): SQL querying, joins, indexes basics, transactions, and data modeling fundamentals.
- AI enablement experience/knowledge:
- Hands-on familiarity with GitHub Copilot and/or Windsurf/Devin
- Understanding of vector databases (e.g., ChromaDB or similar) and typical RAG flows
- Exposure to LangChain or Haystack concepts (chains/pipelines, retrieval, prompt management)
- Proficiency with Git, Maven, and Docker in day-to-day development.
