Our consumer business client is seeking a Systems Administrator to support infrastructure operations using Microsoft , Azure, Windows Server, and virtualization technologies

Join a team supporting enterprise infrastructure and cloud operations within a hybrid Microsoft workplace.

This role focuses on day-to-day systems administration, server support, Microsoft administration, Azure operations, and escalated incident resolution across infrastructure and end-user services.

The position supports ongoing operational initiatives with exposure to infrastructure, security, cloud, and endpoint management teams.

Successful consultants will be evaluated for long-term permanent employment following the initial engagement.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Working Hours: EST

Must Haves

- 5–7+ years in Systems Administration supporting Windows Server environments
- Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management administration
- Microsoft and Exchange Online administration




- Azure administration, PowerShell scripting, and VMware or Hyper-V virtualization support
- Authorized to work in Canada

Nice to Have

- Microsoft certifications
- Intune administration
- ITIL and service management best practices
- Incident, change, and problem management exposure
- Endpoint management solutions experience

Responsibilities

- Administer and support Windows Server environments
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management
- Support Microsoft including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability
- Perform server maintenance, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting
- Support Azure cloud infrastructure and services
- Respond to escalated incidents and service requests
