We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable (AR/AP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and experience working with QuickBooks Online. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of our business.
In addition to AR/AP responsibilities, the successful candidate will be trained in accounting management, payroll, and purchasing functions to provide backup support when needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their accounting knowledge and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Prepare and reconcile customer and vendor accounts
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions
- Process invoices, payments, and deposits
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Assist with month-end reporting and account reconciliations
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal staff regarding account inquiries
- Learn accounting management,
payroll processing, and purchasing procedures to provide backup support
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an AR/AP accounting role
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
What We Offer
- Hourly wage of $20.00–$23.00, depending on experience
- Full-time employment
- Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Cross-training in accounting management, payroll, and purchasing responsibilities
