We’re hiring a Cook to join our team.

Do you have a passion for cooking and serving seniors? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment?

If you're motivated, have a solid work ethic, and enjoy helping others then we want to hear from you. We take immense pride in providing top quality care to our residents ensuring continuous quality is achieved.

Duties Include:

- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and supper according to the meal plan approved by Newfoundland Labrador Health Services -Eastern Urban Zone.
- Make homemade baked goods including but not limited to buns, bread, tea biscuits, desserts and pastries
- Provide snack to residents according to meal plan
- Wash dishes (pots, cooking utensils & pans)
- Keep kitchen and kitchen equipment clean




- Complete weekly grocery order(s)
- Ensure all received groceries are received correctly as ordered with quality assurance top of mind
- Pack and store items in accordance to food safety best practices
- Other duties assigned by employer

Experience:

- Cooking: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
