- Build and assemble wooden components according to blueprints, specifications and directions
- Cut and shape wood using hand and power tools
- Measure and mark materials for cutting and assembly
- Ensure framing is level, plumb, and square
- Inspect completed frames for quality and accuracy
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a framer or carpenter preferred
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation an asset
- Ability to use hand, power tools, nail gun & skilsaw safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
-Working at Heights and Whimis training can be arranged if needed
Expected start date: ASAP
Overtime after 44 Hours
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
