Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Mechanic to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive and heavy equipment repair industry. The Apprentice Mechanic will work under the guidance of experienced mechanics, assisting with various tasks related to the maintenance and repair of vehicles, farm machinery, and industrial equipment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skill development in a supportive environment. This is a temporary position but could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate

Duties

- Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs on vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
- Support the team in welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Help with the operation of heavy machinery, including digging equipment and farm machinery.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance services.




- Learn to perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on various types of machinery.
- Collaborate with senior mechanics to enhance skills in automotive repair and industrial equipment maintenance.

Requirements .

- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in mechanical work.
- Experience or interest in heavy equipment operation, farm machinery, or industrial equipment is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to work well in a team setting while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with mechanical work.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; relevant coursework or certifications are advantageous.
