Client Site: Department of National Defence — Dwyer Hill Training Centre
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Starting Salary: $24.00/hour, plus $1.00/hour bilingual premium

What you will be doing…

Reporting to the Section Supervisor, through the Gatehouse Supervisor, the Switchboard Operator is the friendly voice and first point of contact for everyone who calls or visits the site.

Some of your responsibilities include…

- Receive, screen, and direct telephone calls
- Log telephone messages
- Help keep the unit telephone directory up to date
- Cover access/egress duties when the access control operator is on break
- Issue and collect site passes
- Other related duties as required

Your must-haves:

- A valid Secret security clearance
- A valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
