Production Assistant - Locations in Mississauga & Brampton

Our client is a growing manufacturing company with a focus on precision and quality in sheet metal production. They are seeking a motivated Production Assistant to support their team in operating equipment, assembling components, and maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. This role offers hands-on training and the opportunity to develop skills in a collaborative workplace.

Responsibilities

- Operate sheet metal machinery, including deburring, polishing, and forming equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, templates, and technical documents to guide production tasks.
- Assemble metal parts and structural components using tools like dowel pins, wedges, and jacks.
- Perform layout tasks for sheet metal patterns and ensure accurate alignment of components.
- Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed and participate in training programs to enhance skills.

Qualifications





- 1+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly role.
- Ability to read and follow safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Solid math and mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and solve basic production challenges.
- Available to work rotating shifts (days and afternoons).
- Able to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout a shift.
