Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly responsible Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to join our professional immigration consulting firm.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience managing a broad range of Canadian immigration cases, with proven ability to independently manage applications from initial consultation to final decision. Alternatively, candidates with at least one (1) year of experience as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), who have managed a high-volume caseload of no fewer than 40 active clients concurrently, will also be considered.

The successful candidate must be fully familiar with multiple immigration programs and application types, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. This is not an entry-level role, and no training will be provided for core immigration casework responsibilities.

This role requires exceptional case management, analytical thinking, and communication skills. The consultant will provide strategic immigration advice, prepare and manage complex applications, and ensure that all submissions meet the highest professional and regulatory standards. The consultant will be fully accountable for the quality and outcome of each file handled.

Duties

- Conduct client consultations and assess immigration eligibility across multiple Canadian immigration programs.
- Provide strategic immigration advice and recommendations tailored to each client’s circumstances.




- Independently manage client cases from intake to final decision, including strategy, document preparation, submission, and follow-up.
- Prepare, review, and submit immigration applications in compliance with IRCC regulations and procedural requirements.
- Handle a variety of immigration case types, including but not limited to Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, family sponsorship, study permits, work permits, and permanent residence applications.
- Monitor application progress and manage deadlines, document requests, and procedural updates.
- Maintain organized and accurate client records using internal systems and databases.
- Communicate with clients and government authorities regarding application status and requirements.
- Ensure all applications meet strict quality and compliance standards to minimize the risk of refusal due to avoidable errors.
- Stay current with Canadian immigration laws, policies, and program changes.

Requirements

- Active RCIC designation in positive standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience handling Canadian immigration files.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), with demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload of at least 40 active clients concurrently.




- Demonstrated ability to handle a wide range of immigration case types independently.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and take full ownership of client files.
- Strong understanding of Canadian immigration programs and application procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and case management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong sense of professional responsibility and accountability for file outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Important:
This position requires an experienced RCIC who can independently manage a full caseload of immigration files. Applicants must already be familiar with major Canadian immigration programs and application procedures and be able to prepare and submit applications without supervision. Training for core immigration casework will not be provided.

Candidates who do not meet the experience requirement or require training for standard immigration applications will not be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,500.00-$60,000.00 per year
