Security Guard

We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Security Guards to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and the public. This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to a variety of situations. We are expanding our sites in General Duties, Healthcare, Campus, Industrial, Mobile, Events in Cranbrook, Sparwood, Elkford, Fernie, anywhere in the East Kootenay Region.

Responsibilities





- Provide a visible security presence and maintain a secure environment
- Patrol premises, monitor access control, and report irregularities
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents with professionalism
- Enforce site rules, regulations, and safety procedures
- Complete detailed and accurate daily reports
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and the public

Qualifications

- Valid BC Security License
- Basic Occupational First Aid Training is an asset
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Previous security or customer service experience is an asset
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
