Position Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and motivated Kumon Assistant Instructor to support students in developing strong math and reading skills. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children of different ages and abilities and is committed to maintaining Kumon’s instructional standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist students of various ages (early learners to high school level) during class sessions
- Guide students in math and reading according to Kumon methods and worksheets
- Grade classwork and homework accurately using the answer keys
- Record completion times and maintain accurate student records
- Provide encouragement and support to help students build confidence and independence
- Monitor student progress and communicate concerns to the Chief Instructor
- Ensure all Kumon procedures and classroom policies are followed
- Maintain an organized and structured learning environment

Qualifications:





- Minimum high school diploma (post-secondary education preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mathematics (comfortable with elementary through high school level math)
- Ability to work effectively with children of different ages and learning levels
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, reliable, and responsible
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a structured 30-minute session format

Work Environment:

- Part-time position
- After-school and/or evening hours
- Structured and fast-paced educational setting

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $18.25-$18.75 per hour
