General Labour / Concrete Worker - Scarborough

The Career Foundation is currently seeking Full-time General Labour / Concrete Worker - Scarborough on behalf of one of our employer partners.

About Opportunity:

We are looking for a hardworking and dependable General Labourer to support daily operations on our construction sites. This role involves a variety of physical tasks to help keep projects running smoothly, safely, and on schedule. It’s a great chance for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, painters, electricians, etc.) as needed

· Working with Concrete, Drilling Holes in Concrete Bases

· Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment

· Prepare and clean up job sites before and after work

· Move materials to and from different areas on site

· Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision

· Remove debris and ensure work areas are safe and organized

· Follow instructions from supervisors and site managers

· Support general site activities to keep projects on track

Requirements:

· Previous experience in construction or manual labour is an asset, but not required

· Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs, bending, and standing for long periods

· Ability to use Powertools for Drilling, Concrete Drilling, Hammers, etc.

· Willingness to learn and take direction





· Basic understanding of safety practices on construction sites

· Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Nice to Have:

· Experience working with construction tools or equipment

· Valid safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, OSHA, or local equivalents)

· Ability to operate small machinery (e.g., compactors, drills)
