Server Specialist (Temporary – 4 Month Contract)

At Cherish at Central Park, our dining room is much more than a place to enjoy a meal—it's where friendships are built, stories are shared, and residents experience genuine hospitality every day. We're looking for Server Specialists to join our Hospitality Team on a 4-month temporary contract.

If you're looking for consistent full-time hours, or part time hours, enjoy working with seniors, and take pride in creating exceptional guest experiences, we'd love to meet you.

Typical Shift: 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.

What You'll Do:

As a Server Specialist, you'll play an important role in creating memorable dining experiences by:

- Welcoming residents with warmth, kindness, and professionalism.
- Taking meal orders accurately and serving food and beverages with care.
- Building meaningful relationships with residents through friendly conversation and attentive service.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting dining room.
- Clearing and resetting tables to ensure a welcoming workplace.
- Assisting with special events, themed dinners, and celebrations.
- Communicating resident preferences and feedback to the culinary team.
- Working collaboratively with your teammates to deliver an exceptional hospitality experience.

What We're Looking For:





- Previous experience in food service preferably with Banquet dining, hospitality, or customer service is considered an asset.
- A genuine passion for serving seniors and making a positive difference in someone's day.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
- The ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and safely lift up to 40 lbs.
- Level 1 Food Safe Certification (completed within the past 12 months).

This position is located within a seniors retirement community and is not a traditional restaurant environment. Our focus is on hospitality, relationships, and resident experience. As such, this is a non-tipped position.
