Production Assembler – Afternoon Shift (1:45 PM – 10:00 PM)

Plascon Plastics is looking for a reliable and motivated Production Assembler to join our Production team on our Afternoon Shift (Monday to Friday, 1:45 PM – 10:00 PM).

What You'll Do

As a Production Assembler, you will play an important role in ensuring our products meet quality standards while supporting efficient production operations.

Responsibilities

- Inspect finished parts and identify quality defects.
- Pack products according to customer specifications.
- Notify the Production Supervisor of machine issues or rejected parts.
- Follow all health, safety, and 5S workplace standards.
- Prepare packing stations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Wrap and strap pallets for shipment.
- Safely operate a pallet jack.
- Assist with machine coverage during employee breaks.
- Support production activities wherever needed.
- Identify products, packaging materials, and labels.
- Collect product samples and complete production documentation.
- Measure parts using calipers and perform quality spot checks.
- Assist with material and regrind changes.
- Perform color changes, including operating blenders,



color feeders, and material systems.
- Notify the Production Supervisor when production orders or color changes are complete.
- Help monitor consumable inventory when required.

What We're Looking For

- Previous manufacturing or production experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Comfortable standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Basic math and measuring skills.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers is an asset.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn multiple production processes through cross-training.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
