We are seeking a Labour & Employment Associate to join a busy plaintiff-side litigation practice in British Columbia, offering adaptable remote work arrangements and strong exposure to employment litigation matters. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated litigator with civil litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced and client-focused environment. The successful candidate will work on employment-related disputes while collaborating with a respected litigation team across multiple provinces.

Responsibilities

- Manage employment and civil litigation files from intake through resolution

- Draft pleadings, correspondence, motion materials, and legal documents

- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies

- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members

- Attend mediations, negotiations,



and court proceedings as required

- Maintain organized files and ensure deadlines are met

- Deliver responsive and client-focused legal service

Qualifications

- LL.B. or equivalent degree

- Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia

- Minimum 2+ years of civil litigation experience

- Employment law experience preferred

- Plaintiff-side and contingency fee experience considered a strong asset

- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage urgent deadlines
