Brandt is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver for our Vernon Construction & Forestry location.

This position is responsible for assisting the parts department with the general shipping and receiving of goods.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work in teams to loading trucks and sea containers with finished goods
- Inspecting crates and bundles for damage during the loading process
- Assist in counting of inventory as required
- Keeps area clean and in order at all times
- Must have the ability to perform work related duties outside in a safe and competent manner in adverse conditions, extreme heat/cold/ slippery conditions
- Forklift experience would be an asset but is not required
- Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

- Must be capable of working under minimum supervision
- Must be physically fit to manually handle all goods, steel and products as required
- Must have good communication skills and positive attendance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
