Cash Management Group, Canaccord Genuity – Vancouver, BC The Cash Management Group at Canaccord Genuity is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fall/Winter Wealth Management Intern to join our high-performing team of finance professionals. We manage over $7 billion in client assets and are looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and wants hands-on exposure to the wealth management industry. This role provides broad exposure across our business.

You'll rotate through multiple departments, including Operations, Institutional Sales, and Business Development, while working alongside experienced Investment Advisors and finance professionals.

Throughout the internship, you'll gain practical experience supporting client relationships, account administration, operational workflows, and strategic initiatives that help drive our business forward. This is a full-time, paid internship based in our downtown Vancouver office. The Fall/Winter internship is available for a 4- to 8-month term, with a start date based on the successful candidate's academic schedule.

The role requires onsite attendance Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for inbound client phone calls, providing professional and timely assistance.

Support Investment

Advisors by drafting client correspondence, preparing emails, and assisting with communications to existing and prospective clients. Rotate through various areas of the business to gain hands-on experience across wealth management operations. Assist our Operations team with client onboarding, account openings, documentation,



and account maintenance while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Prepare and distribute daily interest rate sheets and market updates for our Institutional Sales team. Support our sales professionals by maintaining Salesforce records, documenting client meetings, and updating activity while Advisors are traveling. Contribute to special projects focused on improving business processes, including identifying opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Assist with data management, reporting, and administrative projects across multiple departments. Collaborate with team members on ad hoc initiatives that support business growth and client service. What You'll Learn

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, for students entering their third or fourth year of study.

Strong interest in financial markets and wealth management.



Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Professional, confident, and personable. Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.

Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms) is considered an asset.
