Play It Forward is dedicated to removing financial barriers so children and families in our community have access to sport, recreation, and physical activity opportunities. Through fundraising initiatives, including 50/50 draws at Sudbury Wolves and Sudbury Five games, we help create more opportunities for youth to play, grow, and thrive.

About the Opportunity

Play It Forward is looking for enthusiastic and community-minded volunteers to join our 50/50 Game Day Volunteer Team.

This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting youth, sport, and community initiatives. Volunteers will help support our game day fundraising efforts by engaging with fans and selling 50/50 tickets at Sudbury Wolves and Sudbury Five home games.

We are building a volunteer pool for the season, allowing volunteers to indicate their availability and participate in games that fit their schedule.

Responsibilities

- Sell 50/50 tickets to fans during home games
- Provide friendly and welcoming service to fans
- Promote the 50/50 draw and answer basic questions about Play It Forward
- Handle ticket sales and funds responsibly
- Represent Play It Forward in a positive and qualified manner
- Support a fun and engaging game day atmosphere

Qualifications

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Friendly, approachable,



and comfortable interacting with the public
- Reliable and dependable
- Passionate about supporting youth, sport, and community initiatives
- Comfortable working in a busy event environment
- Previous customer service, fundraising, or volunteer experience is an asset but not required

Time Commitment

- Volunteer shifts take place during Sudbury Wolves and Sudbury Five home games
- Volunteers can select games based on their availability
- Opportunities are available throughout the season, with no minimum number of games required

How to Apply Interested applicants are invited to apply through Indeed. Applications will be accepted until August 15, 2026.

Selected volunteers will be contacted with additional information regarding onboarding, training, and upcoming game day opportunities.
