We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 310T Licensed Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment and industrial machinery. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of our fleet and equipment, supporting our operational excellence.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and mechanical parts of heavy equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections to identify potential issues before breakdowns occur
- Use schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems accurately
- Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting gear safely and efficiently during repairs and assembly tasks
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all equipment serviced
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of commercial equipment using appropriate tools and techniques
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all repair activities
Qualifications
- Valid 310T Licensed Diesel Mechanic certification with proven experience in heavy-duty diesel engine repair
- Dealership or industrial equipment experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various machinery
- Proficiency with schematics, electrical systems, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex issues
- Hands-on experience with welding, heavy lifting, power tools, and hand tools required for repairs and maintenance
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality workmanship
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly in a fast-paced environment
